CVES celebrated Fire Safety Week with an assembly and fire truck rides from our Chappell Volunteer Fire Department. Each student received a bag of items, including a carbon monoxide alarm, smoke alarm and a fire hat. Thank you to Buckley Trust and CVFD for donating all of the items to our students!

Reminder
Next week parent night (day) for football is Oct. 20th. Because of reffing we are starting the game at 2pm. We will introduce Parents/Players at halftime due to the early start. We will also be recognizing Youth Football and Youth Volleyball at halftime as well.

Saturday Oct. 7th the youth football team will be playing under the lights against Potter-Dix. We will be streaming both games. 3rd-4th grade will start at 5:30 followed by 5th and 6th grade.

Good Afternoon! Here is the bracket for the JH MAC Volleyball tournament on Saturday in Oshkosh. Creek Valley will play Garden County at 9am. GO STORM!
Schools are safe and operating normally. Sadly, there appears to have been an accident in Lodgepole on Highway 30. This is not affecting Creek Valley school operations in any way.
Manufacturing and Welding students travelled to Aulick Industries today. They got to tour the fab shop and participated in a build competition where they raced to assemble a grain gate for a trailer. Feenix, Mason and Wyatt got second place out of about 40 teams. All of our students were respectful and extremely well behaved. I'm proud of how they represented their school and community. Go Storm!!
