Daris finished Mrs. Koenen shelf. He even surprised her by organizing it for her. Nice work Daris.
Emily was in action competing at State Speech this past Friday, March 18th. She did awesome with her speech on How to be a Karen! Way to go, Emily!

The winner of the PTO Lucky Charm Marshmallow Guess is Lucy Reichman.
Her guess was 112 marshmallows.
There were 111 marshmallows in the jar.

There will be two MANDATORY parent meetings next week. Monday, 03/21, there is a mandatory Golf parent meeting @ 6pm at the High School. Tuesday, 03/22, there will be a mandatory track parent meeting @ 6pm at the High School.

The Creek Valley Music Department is doing this fundraiser to help students in the music department with the cost associated with competitions, camps, co-curricular, and extracurricular trips and activities. The Creek Valley Music Department also wants to supply the community, family, and friends with Creek Valley Schools gear that incorporates the music department.

Seniors Jordan B., Grace T., and Chase I. presented to the school board on Tuesday, March 8th, asking for an opportunity to have a Senior Retreat day. The trio talked about their plans for a day in Denver, transportation, and funds to be used. The board approved their request!
Members of our CV Elementary teaching staff presented at Tuesday evening's board meeting, for the Celebration of Excellence. Their topic was our elementary counselor, Mrs. League, and all the wonderful support she provides our students and staff. Thanks ladies, and Mrs. League!
CREEK VALLEY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Creek Valley Education Association Scholarship (C.V.E.A.) is awarded to a graduate of Creek Valley High School who currently is a freshman, sophomore or junior in college. Preference will be given to students in the education field with the intent to pursue a teaching career. The Scholarship amount is $750.00.

Chappell Soccer registration is open for ages 5-14. Players and families: Join us for an informational meeting on March 10th at 5:15pm at CVHS commons area. Forms are available at both school offices and may be turned in at the meeting or returned to school by March 11th.
The Booster Club would like to invite the parents of the freshmen and sophomores (as well as anyone who would like help out with post prom) to a meeting TONIGHT at 6:30 in the CVHS Commons.
