Members of the Creek Valley Band and Choir were in action today at the District Music Contest, held in Alliance. All performers had a great day! Results are as follows:

Donovan A, tenor sax solo: Superior
Caitlyn C, vocal solo: Superior
Ella N, vocal solo: Superior
Small vocal ensemble: Superior
Small instrumental ensemble: Superior
As you can see, all performances earned a Superior rating, the highest possible! Great job CV Music, and congratulations Mr. Madison!

Today students kicked off the "Cell Phone Pouch Challenge!" Students & staff have the option to sign up to have their cell phone "locked" in a Yondr pouch for the day! The challenge will be running through April 29th. Congrats to Mr. Howard, the first teacher to sign up!

UPDATE: The Junior High track meet in Perkins County tomorrow, 04/14, will now start at 10am rather than 9am.
At tonight’s school board meeting, our Celebration of Excellence was D’Aris showing off his bookshelf he built for Mrs. Koenen. He built the shelf with the help of Mr. Dea and Mrs. Kurth. He also made the presentation that was shown! Great job, D’Aris!

The golf tournament in Bridgeport that was scheduled for Thursday, April 14th has been moved to Friday, April 22 starting at 9am.
UPDATE: The golf meet that was scheduled for tomorrow, 04/12, in Mitchell has been postponed to Monday, May 9th at 9am.
UPDATE: The Twilight track meet scheduled for tomorrow, 04/12, has been postponed until Tuesday, 04/19. The meet will still start at 1:30.
