Ms. Erica saw a TikTok about how to "call worms to the surface" and tried it with the toddler friends last week. Unfortunately, it did not bring any worms up, however, the kids still had fun trying!
Creek Valley Senior, Kennedy Bocock, has decided to continue her education at Wayne State College. She will be majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Business Administration. Congratulations, Kennedy! Kennedy will also be a member of the Cheer Team at Wayne and we will be doing a signing for her tomorrow at 12:25 in the HS gymnasium. Anyone who wants to come cheer her on is welcome to attend!

Some pictures from our MAC track meet in Chappell yesterday. Samantha Marin got first in the 3200 meter run and 1st in the 800 meter run. Anna Speirs got 1st place in the 1600 meter run and 3rd place in the 400. Luke Fletcher got 4th place in High Jump Karsyn Burgman got 5th place in High Jump. Additionally, Ava Fraass and Catherine Tilghman both got PRs in the shot put and discuss. Ava also got a PR in the 100 meter dash. Jessly Bravo also got a PR in the 400 meters. Go Storm! 💚🌪️
Our Senior track team members are Samantha Marin and Anna Speirs. They participated in two invitationals in the past two weeks, Best in the West and Best in the Midwest. Last week, at Best in the West, Anna got 8th place in the mile with a season best time of 5:55:63. Sam placed 6th in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:48:19. Today at the Best in the Midwest meet, both girls ran the 1600 meter run in some strong winds. Sam placed 3rd with a time of 5:54:77. Anna got 6th with a time of 6:03:98. So proud of these girls and all the hard work they put in to reach their big goals!!!

MAC High school and Junior high Track meet At Creek Valley High School

Junior high will have running events in the morning and field events in the afternoon.
High school will have field events in the morning and running events in the afternoon.
High School will start field events at 8:00am (shot and disc)
Junior High will start running events at 8:30
Please note that because there are running events in the morning and afternoon, we ask that spectators stay off the field so as to not interfere with the runners.

Creek Valley Families- A reminder that this coming Monday, April 29th, is a snow make-up day. We will be in school as usual. Also because of winter snow closures, our final day of school is now Thursday, May 16th.
Help our local youth. They will be serving breakfast burritos at the MAC track meet Monday.
The 8th Grade class got to go to Chadron State College for a campus visit today. We were awarded a campus visit grant from EducationQuest and had a great day touring the college, seeing dorm rooms, eating lunch in the dining hall, and learning about what college life looks like.

Due to impending weather on Saturday the MAC conference has decided to move the JH/HS track meet to Monday, 04/29, starting at 8am. An updated schedule of events will be released when available.
