
A couple lively debates today with the seniors in Government class. This is such a talented and fun group of students. Thank you, seniors, for the laughs today!


Seniors Jordan B., Grace T., and Chase I. presented to the school board on Tuesday, March 8th, asking for an opportunity to have a Senior Retreat day. The trio talked about their plans for a day in Denver, transportation, and funds to be used. The board approved their request!


Members of our CV Elementary teaching staff presented at Tuesday evening's board meeting, for the Celebration of Excellence. Their topic was our elementary counselor, Mrs. League, and all the wonderful support she provides our students and staff. Thanks ladies, and Mrs. League!


CREEK VALLEY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Creek Valley Education Association Scholarship (C.V.E.A.) is awarded to a graduate of Creek Valley High School who currently is a freshman, sophomore or junior in college. Preference will be given to students in the education field with the intent to pursue a teaching career. The Scholarship amount is $750.00.

There will be a junior class parent meeting regarding Prom on Monday, March 14th at 5:15pm at the high school.

Chappell Soccer registration is open for ages 5-14. Players and families: Join us for an informational meeting on March 10th at 5:15pm at CVHS commons area. Forms are available at both school offices and may be turned in at the meeting or returned to school by March 11th.

The Booster Club would like to invite the parents of the freshmen and sophomores (as well as anyone who would like help out with post prom) to a meeting TONIGHT at 6:30 in the CVHS Commons.

Wacky Wednesday at CVES!



World Geography outside today! Students worked on spelling Sub-Saharan Africa countries correctly, in preparation for their map test next week. Happy spring break, everyone!

Thank you to our NHS and FFA students for coming to read Dr. Seuss books. The elementary students enjoyed it!




There will be a Post Prom Planning meeting in the HS Commons on March 10th at 6:30pm. We encourage all freshmen and sophomore parents to attend!

The 8th grade has been comparing the literacy rate, life expectancy, GDP, and infant mortality of the U.S. and other countries. They researched the countries and then graphed their results using Google sheets.

For students interested in taking the ACT in April today is the last day to register without a late fee. Test date is April 2.
