The Animal Biology (Animal Science) students have been studying about cells. They had some awesome 3-D models showing and then the students had to explain the different parts. Not to mention, it was a delicious way to learn.

In the last four days, the Storm XC team has competed at the Ogallala XC Meet and UNK Invitational. Ogallala: All four runners came away with lifetime bests with Belle being our most improved runner by cutting two minutes! Her time is 1 minute and 12 seconds away from the school record! Belle (50th); Logan (74th), Luke (101), Carter (112) Kearney: The XC team battled through a hilly course, humid conditions, and hundreds of competitors. Though we didn't come away with PR's, we did get valuable experience and an opportunity for character development. Way to persevere, Storm! We also had a Storm XC Alumni make a cameo appearance! Creek Valley Up Coming Events

Our little scientists had a wonderful week exploring color mixing, predictions, and observations! After reading "Mixed: A Colorful Story" and "Little Blue and Little Yellow," we made predictions about what would happen if we mixed colors, and then investigated using our very own hands! We also hunted for the letter A, triangles, and the color yellow, learned the Mat Man song, and built Mat Man using big lines, little lines, big curves, and little curves. Outside we discovered some tiny mushrooms in our "Shady Area." So much exploring, creating, investigating, and learning happening in Pre-K! We love watching those little minds at work!

Tonight, we’re bringing the Storm together to honor the 1995 and 1996 Chappell Buffaloes volleyball state champions! 🏐💚🖤

The 1995 team went 28–0 on its way to the Class D1 title. In 1996, the Buffaloes did it again, finishing 27–0 and winning a second consecutive state championship. Two seasons. Two titles. **55 wins and no losses.**

Join us for tonight’s home volleyball game against Garden County at **5:00 PM**. Recognition will be **between the second and third sets**. Let’s give our champions a Storm-sized welcome! 🌪️

Tomorrow is also Parents night. Volleyball Parents will be recognized before the game 4:55; and between sets 2 and 3 we will honor all those who were a part of the Championship teams 1995 and 1996.
Football, golf and cross country will be recognized before the Football Game at 6:55
