Dear Parents and Guardians,
Students have brought to our attention several TikTok accounts identified as “CVS confessions,” “CVS Guess who,” and “CVS s.o.d.” Students report that their pictures and names are being shared without their permission. Some of these accounts also use the school’s logo, which may create the impression that they are connected to the school.
These accounts are not operated, authorized, or endorsed by Creek Valley Schools. The posts are not coming from the school, and the use of our logo does not make these accounts official school communications.
We believe those responsible for these accounts may have obtained student pictures from our school website. If that is the case, the school has not given permission for these photos to be used by these accounts.
We take students’ concerns seriously. Sharing students’ images, names, or personal information without their permission can affect their privacy and well-being. These posts have also caused disruptions during class time.
Law enforcement has been made aware of these accounts, and we are working to determine the source of the posts. Please also be aware that additional accounts of this type may appear as we work to identify those responsible for the original accounts.
Although posts may be made outside the school day, their effects can carry into school and disrupt learning. If a Creek Valley student is found responsible, school disciplinary consequences may apply when the conduct disrupts learning or affects students at school, consistent with school policy and applicable law.
Please take time to talk with your child about what they are viewing, posting, and sharing online. Remind them to respect others’ privacy, avoid submitting information about other students, and refrain from sharing or encouraging posts that could embarrass or harm someone. One of the reported accounts includes a form requesting submissions; please discourage your child from participating.
If your child has been affected or has information that may help identify who is responsible, please contact the school office. Screenshots and account details may help us address the concern. Please share those directly with school administration rather than reposting them publicly.
Thank you for partnering with us to protect our students and maintain a respectful school community
