Mr. Garcia

K-12 P.E./Health Coordinator

Let me introduce myself. My name is Alejandro Garcia and I am the K-12 Physical/Health education teacher here at Creek Valley Schools. My roots can be traced back to a little town in the most south east corner of Wyoming known as Pine Bluffs. There, I attended school at both the elementary and high school. Once I graduated, both my need to get a further education and to continue running brought me to Gillette College on a full-ride scholarship. In my two years at Gillette, I was able to experience quite a lot of success in both academics and athletics. It was here that I developed the desire to become a physical education teacher and upon graduating, found my way to Chadron State College on another running scholarship. I spent the next three years at CSC working towards my bachelors in K-12 physical and health education all while competing in three different collegiate sports. In addition to my duties as a teacher, I am the head XC coach and as well as the assistant track coach for Creek Valley High School. On my free time, I enjoy to run as it is quite therapeutic and it helps to keep me in shape for all of the competitions I participate in throughout the year. Thanks for taking time to read my bio and hope you have a great school year!
