Graduated from Scottsbluff High School, Nebraska Western College (Vocal Performance), Chadron State College (B.S. Music Ed K-12) and Phoenix University (M.A Ed in Curriculum and Instruction).

Born and raised in Scottsbluff, with 5 sisters & 2 brothers (deceased).

Loves to garden, read, bicycling, swimming, fishing and camping. Has 3 dogs.

Has taught in Colorado, Ohio & Nebraska. Has sung professionally in 48 states, 3 countries, was the National Anthem singer for the Denver Nuggets in the 1987-1988 season. Studied Mariachi music in Mexico and had the 1st program of its kind in Colorado. Has awards from the Grammy Foundation, U. S. Department of Education, has been in Who's Who and was Teacher of the Year in Colorado in 1988. Music groups have received national and state recognition in Colorado and Ohio.

Family and faith are very important aspects of his life. Believes that positive relationships are a foundation for a great lie and future.

Worst life experience: Going through the intruder shooting at Platte Canyon High School in Bailey, Colorado in 2006.

Best life experience: Seeing former students be successful & becoming close friends.
