Emily Marin, a sophomore, has been awarded HONORABLE MENTION for her short story, The Flower Girl, by UNK's Phi Eta Simga-sponsored writing contest - Nebraska Emerging Writing Contest. This is a prestigious contest! It had a crazy amount of submissions this year, and they only awarded prizes to the top 3 winners. Emily was right behind with her honorable mention. What an honor!
